How to get classified

The National Sporting Organisations (NSO) manage classification for athletes with a physical impairment (PI) in Australia. If you would like to get classified for Para sport, please contact your sport of interest by the contact details on the Para sport pages.

Classifiers for athletes with a physical impairment

There are various classifiers for athletes with a physical impairment; medical doctors or physiotherapists (Medical Classifiers) or sports science/sport coaching experts (Technical Classifiers).
